Ten Buck Fridays: August 22 - 27

We'll introduce this week's TBF poll with some thoughts from The Other McCain:

"Money isn’t everything, but it’s essential to running any political campaign...

"These candidates can’t depend on the Washington-based Republican establishment to bail them out. RNC reportedly has only $5 million cash on hand. The NRCC has $17 million, compared to $33 million for the DCCC. If conservatives online don’t start paying attention, Nov. 2 may be another one of those 'agony of defeat' moments — a long night of tearful Republican concession speeches that brings smiles to the faces of Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann."

Congratulations Renee Elmers!

@RightKlik,

This is what Merlin Froyd is running against...

Most of the residents in this district done't even know Berman in their Congressman. Berman isn't even RUNNING a re-election campaign. We can take this seat right out from under him.

BTW, isn't Maggie awesome?

That's a pretty good list. But you should take a look at the ranked version of the KeyHouseRaces Master List. It lists the 93 House Races really in play (12 are Republican seats) and puts the likely R winners at the top and the likely D winners at the bottom. The war is being fought in the middle. Take a look at all the Toss-Ups. Those are the races that need to be funded if the Republicans are going to retake the House. Here is the link: KeyHouseRaces.com

I tryed to donate to Hecks web site and they couldn't accept a visa or mc. I e-maild them and got no response. I give up, if they can't collect their own contributions they don't need to be in DC.

Would love to see you post Bill Marcy on your Ten Buck Fridays. Bill is running for Congressional District 2 in Mississippi against 17 + year incumbent Bennie Thompson. Mr. Thompson is as radical as they come, has ongoing ethical violations now before the Ethics Committee. He is Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee and wants amnesty for illegal aliens. Makes no bones about creating a pathway to citizenship instead of protecting border. Please help Bill Marcy by posting this on your Ten Buck Fridays if at all possible.

Can we suggest candidates?

I'd like to see Ilario Pantano on your list. He's got the potential to unseat a 140 year long Democrat dynasty in NC, and he's up against a $1 million war chest.

Ten bucks would go a long way in his campaign!
