Mike Stopa is not a politician, he's a scientist. To be more specific, he's a Harvard physicist who's recognized as a leading expert on nanoscale electronics and computation. Maybe he's overqualified for Congress, but as a patriot, he's willing to serve anyway.
Stopa is running for Congress from the 3rd district in Massachusetts. His fascinating promotional clips were made famous by Instapundit (Mike Stopa vs. Obama). Here's my favorite:
Here's an intriguing fact about Stopa's congressional district: despite the fact that it's in liberal Massachusetts, and despite the fact that Rep. Jim McGovern, the incumbent, is a Democrat and was a loyal disciple of Senator George McGovern, Scott Brown won the district with almost 60% of the vote in January.

I'm impressed... He used the TBF hashtag!
Treat yourself to Stopa's campaign videos. You'll see that he's a great patriot and a very solid conservative.
