TBF Congratulates Joel Demos!

Joel Demos is showing us how it's done. Not one to shy away from an enormous challenge, Demos is taking on a well-financed liberal in one of the bluest districts in the U.S.A. But Demos knows what's at stake this year, and he'd drag a truck across the country with a chain if that's what he needed to do to try to save this country for the next generation:

Ed Morrissey explains...

"Minnesota’s Fifth Congressional District may be one of the most liberal districts in the nation. It sent Keith Ellison to Congress in 2006 and kept him there in 2008 by a 48-point margin. It’s a D+23 district according to the Cook Report, but that almost certainly understates the Sisyphean task any Republican would have in pushing Ellison aside, even in a year like this. Instead of Sisyphus pushing the boulder up the hill, Joel Demos gives us a slightly more modern take on how this task looks — and what it will take to succeed...

"Joel has the unenviable task of door-knocking in this district, but from what I hear around the campfire, he’s taking that task and others very seriously..."

Demos also took the task of winning your TBF vote very seriously. He needs your help! As he noted in the original intro to his clever viral video, "This only works if you donate!"

TBF is proud to help introduce Joel to conservatives all over the country, and we look forward to his victory in November. If you can, please send some cash to Joel Demos!

Giving money to hard-working conservative candidates feels good. I know, because I do it every week! I just sent $10 to Joel Demos; now it's your turn:

I'd like to nominate Merlin Froyd in California.

He's running against Howard Berman, a 28-year Dem party hack who doesn't even appear to be running a campaign this year.

We have a real chance to take this seat; we have an active, likeable candidate who is aggressively courting independents and disaffected Dems, and an enthusiastic street team.

Please check him out and consider including him in your ballot.

Here's some more Merlin and you can follow the YouTube link to all his material.

Sorry I'm so late in posting the winner this week. I've been having terrible problems with my blogger software. I finally put something up on TCL linking to your TBF post for all of the info. I'll try the other websites later today.
Have a nice weekend.
