Ten Buck Fridays: We Have a Winner?

Here are the approximate results of the Ten Buck Fridays poll for the week of July 4 - July 9:

Fourth place: Ann Marie Buerkle, 6.4%
Third place: Teresa Collett, 11.4%
Second place: Charles Lollar, 16.0%
First place: Eric Wargotz, 54%

All four of the top candidates reached out to their supporters for TBF votes via Facebook, Twitter, email, etc.

I am proud to be a member of the rapidly-growing TBF network, and I'm very pleased with the interest TBF continues to generate. Stay tuned for exciting developments. Big news is right around the corner.

Normally, I strongly encourage everyone to rally behind the winner of the TBF poll by earmarking at least $10 for that candidate. Unfortunately, the gentleman in first place has generated quite a bit of controversy. This week (and this week only) I ask you to bend the rules and go with your gut.

Today I celebrate TBF with a $10 contribution to Charles Lollar.

Please make your weekly contribution and come back here to brag about it!

I thought that ignoring election results was something they did in third-world countries, not here in the US.

Hi Tom,

Is there an email address I can use to contact you?

Made my contribution to Charles Lollar -- an outstanding candidate. I wont comment on the other candidate except to say that I don't believe he is credible and he would be a poor choice to represent the Conservative cause in November.

I won't be sending any money to the winner either. Sorry, no birthers for me.

This is getting huge.

Hi RK:
TBF post is up on TCL with encouragement to make an informed decision.
Again, I am nominating Marco Rubio. His fight against Crist is becoming more of a challenge every day. The oil spill is giving Crist a boost in the polls. It will be a travesty if Crist is sent to the Senate.

Hey RK. I finally got the announcement post up. Been a busy morning. As I said at my place, I think one great side effect of TBF, the vetting of candidates, is coming through.
Here's a link to my post:

I would also like to nominate Van Irion for next weeks poll. I admit, I have no knowledge of him except what I've seen on his website, but I really like his message and what he is doing. Maybe through the polling process we can find out more.
I wrote a post on him yesterday.

The Tennessee primary is Aug 5.

Thanks again for featuring the robot this week! You-da-man!

I don't know about being a birther but I do believe that obama is not the president because as a adult he carried two passports one from indonisia and the other from the US and I think that makes him Ineligible to hold the office of president. As for donation I sent my 10 to Charles. He has been to my club 3 times in baltimore county and Dr.W has ignored our invitations even though Don Murphy is a member of our club.

I will help both Lollar and Wargotz... They both are the best chance we have to beat their entrenched opponents in the Peoples Republic of Maryland (PRM)...

RK - I agree with your analysis. Lollar is quite worthy of our conservative dollars. Wargotz is not. Thanks for being thorough and scrupulous.

What a kerfuffle. I sent TBF $$ to Ann Marie Buerkle.

I nominate Joe Miller. He's a conservative Republican primarying less than conservative incumbent Lisa Murkowski (R) in Alaska. Miller has been endorsed by Sarah Palin, Alaska Right to Life, and a number of local politicians in AK.

I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate my nomination for Chris Gibson for $10Fridays.

http://www.chrisgibsonforcongress.com/home.html

Gibson is running against Scott Murphy (a 'Yes' vote for 0bamacare and Cap & Trade) in New York's 20th district and retired from a 24 year military career as a full-bird Colonel earlier this year.

In the interest of full disclousre, I do not live in the district but I have relatives who do and can't stand that their congresscritter backing the 0bama/Pelosi agenda after running as a moderate in last year's NY-20 Special Election.
