Mike Huckabee Isn't POTUS Material

"It hurts!"

I am convinced Mike Huckabee will never be president of the United States. He let a washed-up second-rate comedienne smack him down ―repeatedly― in a conversation about homosexual adoption. Here's Huckabee's weak, embarrassing, unconvincing, unpresidential performance:

As was noted over at Potluck Bloggers, Huckabee failed to take advantage of a number of opportunities to make a credible argument. Instead, he just rolled over.

Exit question: With all that's going on in the world, why is a supposedly-serious presidential contender wasting valuable time arguing about lesbianism with an inconsequential celebrity walrus?

Still laughing at that picture.

RK, Sometimes a writer or blogger gets a word so right, so perfectly precise, it's mind blowing. The word I'm speaking of here is "walrus" as applied to Obesie O'Donnell. Even without the pictures (which are great BTW), the image that word conjures up does the trick. Congrats on great word choice.

And you're right about Huckabee. Although glib and good humored, he's always been too liberal on many issues for me. And letting the Walrus rough him up: unforgiveable.

Firstly, I thought that was a much better picture of Rosie than usual, and I love her sweater!

Secondly, could not agree more. Huckabee might be a good spritual advisor to the president...or...something...maybe...but he just lacks that something that is necessary to be a convincing candidate.

I don't know, I have to give him credit for even attempting an interview with Rosi. He knew what she is about and (unadvisably so) decided to do the interview anyway. He's a nice guy - he should probably avoid situations that make him look weak.

I think she answered her own question in the first few questions.."..who adhere to the Bible.."
And who can argue that a stable home with a mom and dad is better than two lesbians, who've now also separated and left their kids without a.........um..another mom?

Janie, I'm with you..he seems like a nice guy; But he also is such a wimp in things like this just to LOOK FAIR. That bugs me
