I have never seen that quote today. He was right though. It took a little while for the military to recover from Vietnam. Our military was a joke in the late 70s.

CS, Blue: Too many are taking it all for granted. Fighting over the spoils instead of making their own contribution (or at least honoring those who gave the most).
