Turn Your Head and Cough

Congratulations to National Review for capturing the essence of Obamacare, with Obama telling you to turn your head and cough, then sticking his finger where the sun don't shine.

...a more polite version of the same idea from The Economist.

Thank you for linking to my post about the PSL Tea Party. We want to get as many people to call and e-mail as possible. It is just an hour's drive from me so I will be at the Tea Party being held during the City council meeting.

Way to go, Texas! Great Tea party there!

As for the magazine covers...our VERY liberal doctor's changed his mind about Obama. What, they didn't BELIEVE him when he said he'd be ruining this country ??

The Russians have us beat. Yes the Russians. Flat tax, free(er) press. And they are calling our march to socialism as it is - just that! Thanks for the link!

There is a clue in Missouri about all these new initiatives. The governor is going to tax people who use less energy.

That month you go on vacation and turn everything off and then you come home to a nice surprise in your electric bill. There is not stopping this left-wing craziness.

Andrew33: It's a great thing that these Tea Parties targeted to a specific issue are springing up.

Z: Doctors who support Obama must either be crazy or ignorant. Physician educate yourself!

LCR: Russians KNOW how bad Marxist medicine is.

BB: They're willing to destroy our society in order to create the statist utopia of their dreams.

WHT: The National Review cover is especially good. The libs are complaining about it, so you know it must be sending the right message.

Nicely done!

37,000 in Texas? Wow, I'm not surprised the media was so quiet about this round of protests.

The libs are complaining about the covers? Didn't they get their own ABC infomercial?

Absolutely love the magazine covers!!! I can only hope and pray for all our sakes he does not get his way...or perhaps I should say Nancy doesn't get her way...

I read an article today in the Washington Post about Mary Landrau from LA is being targeted by some organization that is for single payer health care. Spending millions on commercials. She will be forced into voting yes.

I know someone who is a nurse in DC. She says about 95% of the doctors at GW Hospital are for socialized medicine.

CG: Thanks. Apparently, libs aren't going to be happy until they have control of all media.

SD: It's going to be harder to stop now that the clown from Minnesota has been made senator.

JCG: Dems are going to pull out all the stops for Obamacare. If they don't win on this issue, they will lose a lot of momentum.

Unfortunately a lot of doctors are so fed up with the current system, they think anything else would be an improvement. But of course they are wrong. Many doctors don't know very much about politics or economics. They'll be in for a rude awakening if Obamacare comes into fruition.

Up to date numbers on physician support for Obamacare are hard to come by, but I think support is softening. This sheds a little light on the topic:

I can't imagine a doctor being for socialized medicine. They must be delusional BO voters.

Just read the article (elsewhere) where the nation's hospitals have agreed to give up $155 Billion in projected Medicare and Medicaid payments over the next ten years.

How altruistic.

NOT!

That loss is going somewhere. And it's going to hit the people with private insurance right in the goddamn wallet.

Of course, the media isn't going to report that little aspect.

Cube: They're delusional if they think government can make things better. Government is the problem.

Cappy: The media apparently think that government can create health care resources from nothing.
