Team Obama: Denying A Woman's Right To Choose

Do women have an unalienable right to make their own reproductive decisions? Obama's science czar, John Holdren, says no. The right to carry a baby to term is apparently not as sacred to leftists as the right to abort...

In a book Holdren co-authored, the man now firmly in control of science policy in this country wrote that:
  • Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies;
  • The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation's drinking water or in food;
  • Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise;
  • People who "contribute to social deterioration" (i.e. undesirables) "can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility" in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.
  • A transnational "Planetary Regime" should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans' lives using an armed international police force.
Other gems from the czar:
  • The U.S. is "the meanest of wealthy countries."
  • We will need to surrender national sovereignty to an armed international police force.
  • Pro-family and pro-birth attitudes are caused by ethnic chauvinism.
  • "Carbon dioxide-induced famines could kill as many as a billion people before the year 2020."
  • "The Christian concept of life in this world, as voiced by Saint Paul, that 'here we have no abiding city,' for example, conceivably could help explain why some people show rather little concern for the long-term future of the global environment or for the well-being of future generations"
  • Mass sterilization of humans though drugs in the water supply is OK as long as it doesn't harm livestock.
So these are the notions Obama had in mind when he said he would "restore science to its rightful place"?

Obama didn't deny a woman's right to choose, As long as she chooses what he wants!

Klick,

Great post. However, I see you beat me to the punch. I'm posting on Holdren's billion people will die by 2020 quote today. This guy is a loon and a well known loon at that. It shows you either Obama is stupid for appointing him or a loon himself.

Most excellent post, RK! This guy is a nut!

Forced sterilization...hmmm...where did we hear about that? Oh yeah! IN NAZI FRICKIN' GERMANY!

I guess Dr. Mengele will be resurrected to do the job.

AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

Aw, you're just a crazy conspiracy theorist! Tin foil hats, anyone?

Keep it up, RK.

This guy is right out of the Brazil Boys or Dr. Mengela.

All I gotta say is he is one creep fella.

You know RK, it's tempting to pull this madness apart point by point. I think it'sa even more important to see the bigger picture here. These leftists are engaged in a FULL COURT press right now to implement their agenda.

The Sotomayor hearings are a diversionary sideshow intended to infuriate conservatives and DIVERT the attention of Republicans while the Dems in the House pass health care: aka fascist/socialized medicine.

Keep up the good work!

DD2: Yes and libs are very tolerant as long as you believe they way they do.

CG: Thank you. I'm going with the "Obama is a loon" hypothesis.

b&gf: Thanks. Time for me to read Goldberg's book. These people look more like fascists every day.

Son3: I do wish my concerns were born of paranoia.

RV: They are proving to be exactly as extreme as we knew they would be.

CS: Birds of a feather...

JINGOIST: Thanks. We hold the truth to be self evident, but they do not. We believe we have unalienable rights, but they believe we have none.

I couldn't open either link (something's up with my computer, couldn't open a link at Beamish's tonight, either..)
But, I have one question about the points you say Holdren has made;

YOU'RE KIDDING, RIGHT? right?

If the Republicans vote against Sonia Sotomayor, they are racist. If the Democrats vote against an Hispanic nominee, it's because the nominee is unqualified.
This woman is symbolic of all the idiocy being rammed through congress right now.She's a left wing activist Trojan Horse

I am very close to suprised.

Not quite though, no - not quite.

Look who the left has plugging their healthcare plan...Peter Singer wrote an editorial in the NYT advocating rationing of health care.

Singer once wrote, “because people are human does not mean that their lives are more valuable than animals.“ He not only advocates abortion but also killing disabled babies up to 28 days after they are born. In his book Practical Ethics, he wrote, “When the death of a disabled infant will lead to the birth of another infant with better prospects of a happy life, the total amount of happiness will be greater if the disabled infant is killed…. Killing a disabled infant is not morally equivalent to killing a person. Often, it is not wrong at all.”

“killing a newborn baby is never equivalent to killing a person, that is, a being who wants to go on living.” -Peter Singer

I am sure that I am not nearly as pro-life as most of your readers, but this isn't just sick, it is scary. Where is congress on all these czars? The sheer amount of them is alarming enough, then we find out things like this.

Why are all your posts so anti Obama? Can you be that predigest!

Z: deadly serious

DaBlade: Settled law? They've done it in other countries, and we follow their lead now...so I guess you're right.

JJ: Whatever they do is right, whatever we do is wrong. ...this is the recipe for oppressive fascist statism.

WHT: Doomed? Maybe. I don't intend to go down without a fight.

RFYA: There's not much left to be suprised by.

Proof: The left has done a 180 on their "might is not right" mantra.

JCG: You'd think the legislative branch would be opposed to relinquishing more power to the executive. Apparently, they're just like the sheeple, trading freedom for security.

dmarks: Good point. The original line was even more redundant:
