Obama's Approval Index Below Zero

(Approval index = Strong Approval minus Strong Disapproval)

The political capital has been spent.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 34% of the nation's voters now strongly dispprove of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-two percent (32%) strongly approve, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -2. That’s the Obama’s lowest rating to date and the first time the Presidential Approval Index has fallen below zero for Obama.

Now it will be more difficult for Obama to promote his radical agenda without resorting to dirty and unfair tactics.

Ahh...thanks for the explanation of approval ratings. I was wondering how they could be in the negative # region.

Yep. Approval minus disapproval.

Obama needs to step up to the plate on this one, people are dying in Iran for democracy and he's saying nothing? It's not like we have to go to war with them; you just have to condemn the crackdowns and maybe say something about a fair process. His silence is troubling.
Obama won't do s#@t on this. He is clueless, and a coward at heart. He's more comfortable nationalizing everything in sight.
These poor people are waiting for our help, why do you think the signs they were carrying ("where is my vote") were in English!

Boy, your last sentence is scary...if he's not resorted to 'dirty and unfair' yet, who HAS?!
And he's SO angry at FOX because ONE STATION has the guts not to completely suck up to him!

Thanks for explaining that approval index so well.

MMQC: Obama knows the Iranian protesters don't stand a chance...especially without any help. Rather than taking a chance on freedom and liberty, Obama would prefer to stand with Ahmadinejad and have a seat at the table when the dust settles.

Hope and change has given way to ruthless pragmatism.

Oh he certainly has resorted to dirty and unfair tactics, but he would like to keep up the popular nice guy image if he can.
