Town Hall Cover Charge?

Democrats have a rich history of civil rights abuses (e.g., Jim Crow laws, poll taxes, and voter intimidation). Disenfranchisement is a perennial favorite of the Democratic Party, so it shouldn't be surprising to learn that Democrats are erecting financial and bureaucratic barriers to town hall participation.

Viva la representative democracy! Democratic Rep. Melissa Bean is willing to meet with the people — if they register more than a week in advance with her local chamber of commerce and pay a $25 fee!

Town Hall Breakfast meeting with Congresswoman Melissa Bean. Hear her positions on Healthcare, Railroads, Taxes and more. Questions and answers following. Multi-Chamber event.

Includes Full Breakfast. Advance registration required. $25 per person. Includes full breakfast. RSVP required by August 24.

Coming soon: Conservative constituents will only get 3/5 of a vote.

Cannot say I am surprised, seeing it was Democrats that created the Poll Tax and Jim Crow laws to begin with.

However, instead of just targeting blacks, it is tossing out a wider net for republicans and dissenters as well.

Thery reall think they are part of the Obama rock star tour. How pathetic. Charge your constituents to talk to a servant. Unreal!

Talk to your Union rep. They'll help you pay for it.

Oh, this is rich. Remember how crazed the libs got over our side wanting voters to bring photo ID to their polling places to prove their identities before voting because it would endanger the poor who didn't have a picture ID?

Here they are endangering the poor from being heard at townhall meetings and nobody is outraged about it.

Up is down. Black is white. And reality is whatever the left tells us it is. Yeah, right.
