Ten Buck Fridays

A great idea from Conscientiously Conservative:
Ten Buck Fridays started today for me. I donated $10 to Teresa Collett's campaign for 4th Congressional District in Minnesota. Many of us get paid on Fridays... if we bring a sack lunch a couple of times a week to work, right there is an extra tenner. What if conservatives donated $10 each and every week up through November to viable candidates and/or PAC's that are promoting a conservative agenda? If you can't afford every week, what about twice a month? Or once a month? Conservatives need to put their money where their mouth is. Commit to Ten Buck Fridays... it WILL make a difference come November!
Ten Buck Fridays is a great idea, and I think it's one that should really catch on.

I'd like to join with conservative bloggers and conservatives on twitter to focus attention on a different candidate each week. Each week, deserving candidates could be nominated. Polling through the next several days could determine the crowd favorite...and on Friday, a good conservative would be hit with a grassroots moneybomb!

Imagine what a thousand grassroots conservatives could accomplish in unison. Ten thousand dollars a week would grab a lot of attention and could help some candidates who really need it.

Who will join us?

This week: Sharon Angle.* Next week, you decide.

Please leave nominations in the comments section below.

Update: Mind Numbed Robot is on board!

*Suggestion: Please leave the note "Ten Buck Fridays" in one of the optional fields of the donation form. Label your donation!

Vote With Your Brain

To "Hope and Change" Voters:
This election is NOT about hope.  It's about real decisions, real acions and real consequences.  Vote with your head, not with your heart. This isn't a romantic comedy or fantasy football, and we're not choosing our favorite flavor of ice cream.

We've heard a lot about change.  Guess what.  No matter what happens, you're going to get "change."  Do you really have any idea what kind of change Obama wants to promote?  Has Obama been clear on what he has planned for the future?  Are his plans for change realistic?  Does he have any idea what the consequences will be?  Do you?  Learn BEFORE you vote.

To Conservatives:
Don't stay at home just because you think it's a lost cause.  Your vote is important whether Obama wins or not.  If too many conservatives sit out the election, Obama could win big.  If Obama wins with a landslide, it will be seen as a bigger mandate.  People have given their lives for the freedom, security and opportunities we enjoy.  Grow a backbone and keep fighting.  Maintaining liberty and freedom was never supposed to be easy.

Election Countdown

Notable Quotes:

Thomas Sowell:
"...Obama knows what con men have long known, that their job is not to convince skeptics but to enable the gullible to continue to believe what they want to believe. He does that very well."
John McCain on Barack Obama:
"He's more liberal than [the] senator who calls himself a socialist."
Schwarzenegger:
"John McCain has served his country longer in a POW camp than his opponent has in the United States Senate..."
"Obama wants to spread the wealth not because the wealthy do not currently bear their fair share of supporting the government.  He wants to spread the wealth because he views the wealth itself as unfair."
Anat Hakim:
"Should Obama be elected to the presidency...Americans who disagree with President Obama should expect to be silenced."

The very best articles about Barack Obama are written by Thomas Sowell.  Entertaining and informative: read and share.

Obama's Dangerous Friends

Who was at a party sponsored by the Arab American Action Network?

(A) Barack Obama (your future president)
(B) Bill Ayers (terrorist)
(C) Bernadine Dohrn (terrorist)
(D) Rashid Khalidi (former mouthpiece for master-terrorist Yasser Arafat)

Trick question.  Anwer: (E), All of the above.

Want to know more?  You'll have to go to the L.A. Times for the answer.

The cast of unseemly characters is growing fast.  I suppose this is just the tip of the iceberg. While most voters may be paying attention, they're not digging deep enough to find these things.  And why should they?  They understandably believe what they see on TV and in their newspapers.  How could they possibly know how unethical the media have become in glossing over the unseemly details?  You have to be a rabid news junkie to see what's going on.

When Obama becomes president, this won't stop, unless Obama makes a mistake that is literally earth shaking. Then media bias will be the least of our problems.  I've never feared for our country (and our world) like I do now.
