TBF Congratulates Ilario Pantano!

We had another nail biter this week with our TBF poll, and Ilario Pantano finished in first place. About fifteen minutes before the poll closed, Pantano and and Sean Bielat were tied! Coincidentally, both of the top two TBF candidates were endorsed by Michelle Malkin this week, as was Renee Ellmers (last week's TBF winner).

Why should we care about races from North Carolina to Massachusetts to Oregon? Because every Congressman in every corner of the country has an impact on your life. So please support strong conservative candidates wherever they're from. Don't forget the fact that the National GOP establishment is primarily interested in perpetuating the National GOP establishment. And deep-pocketed industrial entities like Big Pharma and Walmart are often more invested in statism and crony capitalism than in liberty and free-enterprise.

Economic and personal freedom will be available in the future only if we are prepared to make the necessary financial investments in leaders who will stand for our Constitutional rights and freedoms. If good candidates can't get the money they need to run their campaigns from us (the grassroots), they'll be forced to rely on special interest groups for their support. And then we'll only have ourselves to blame for a country increasingly overrun by corruptocrats.

The bottom line is this. We can't save our country with clicks and tweets. We have to give up our money. This week, please send some cash to our TBF winner, Ilario Pantano (or to some other conservative who understands the value of freedom).

Want to know why Ilario Pantano deserves your support? Michelle Malkin provides a good thumbnail sketch:

Longtime readers of this blog and Hot Air know the extraordinary story of Ilario Pantano’s heroism. He’s the Marine sniper-turned-Wall Street trader who rejoined the military after 9/11, faced the death penalty for killing two Iraqi insurgents in the heat of battle in a terrorist-infested town near Baghdad, fought fiercely and successfully to clear his name, wrote the book Warlord chronicling his experiences, and defended other defenders who volunteer to put themselves in harm’s way for their countrymen.

Pantano is continuing his journey of public service in the political square. He’s running against Democrat incumbent Rep. Mike McIntyre in North Carolina’s 7th district. UNC Wilmington prof andTownhall columnist Mike Adams has a nice profile of Pantano here.

Pantano’s website is here: He’s on a mission to protect the homeland, preserve conservative values, and increase fiscal accountability. Please lend your support to a warrior who put his life on the line for America.

*Here's Ilario Pantano's donation page.

Don't forget to leave the words "Ten Buck Fridays" in the "occupation" field in the online donation form (for donations less than $200).

I made my donation, now it's your turn!

Since Sean Bielat (USMC) came so close, and is running against BARNEY FRANK, please consider donating to his campaign as well. http://www.retirebarney.com

Congratulations to Ilario Pantano (USMC)!

Also, I wish to nominate Steven Broden for TBF. He is running against Eddie Bernice Johnson in Dallas.

I believe he also spoke at the Restoring Honor Rally with Alveda King.

I go now to take John LaRosa's advice and donate to Bielat's campaign as well. Good call.
