Congratulations to the two "Ten Buck Fridays" alumni who won their primary elections last night:
"Jacob Turk sailed to victory with 67% of the vote in a five-way primary election in District -5, Missouri, August 3rd, and will hopefully go on to beat Emanuel “Spittlegate” Cleaver in the Fall."
"Voters also decided several competitive Republican primaries for Congress. They chose former state Rep. Vicky Hartzler, of Harrisonville — a spokeswoman for a successful 2004 Missouri ballot measure banning gay marriage — to challenge longtime Democratic Rep. Ike Skelton, the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee."
On Thursday (tomorrow), Constitutional Conservative and TBF winner, Van Irion, will find out whether he will get the GOP nod to represent TN-3, a Republican stronghold that spans from Chattanooga in southern Tennessee through Claiborne County on the border with Kentucky and Virginia.
If you know anyone from TN-3 (Oak Ridge, Middle Valley, Cleveland, Red Bank, East Ridge Chattanooga), please send a reminder to vote for Van Irion before the polls close on Thrusday at 8:00 p.m. EDT.
Note: International superstar, Basil Marceaux, is on the ballot in TN-3. Yes, he's running for Congress and for Governor.

I'm hoping and praying for Van to win in TN. He's got a passion for the constitution that should be infectious.
LhC: I voted for him on Friday. He's right on the issues and he's a good speaker. He's an unwaivering opponent of the Obama agenda. We need more voices like his in Washington.
I hope they now win their general elections.
