I will not forget when I went to a tea party that general disgust with both Democrats and Republicans. It was really about the beliefs and not the parties, and that is something party elders need to remember if they begin to think what is good for them is good for America as a whole.

RV: Absolutely. Need to fight the GOP too. Jim DeMint is on the right track.
We need a Tea Party every month until the next election ..
DD2: Definitely like the idea of regular tea parties.
My thoughts are that the GOP can join the tea party and prosper or not join and suffer a slow death of the party.
