Democrat Faces Friendly Fire

In a bit of a surprise, liberal media in Boston have provided unflattering coverage of the Democratic heir apparent to Ted Kennedy's old Senate seat. On Wednesday, The Boston Globe opened up old wounds, reminding voters of Martha Coakley's Dukakis-esque approach to horrific crimes.

Sean Hannity reads from The Globe's article:

In October 2005, a Somerville police officer living in Melrose raped his 23-month-old niece with a hot object, most likely a curling iron.

Keith Winfield, then 31, told police he was alone with the toddler that day and made additional statements that would ultimately be used to convict him.

But in the aftermath of the crime, a Middlesex County grand jury overseen by Martha Coakley, then the district attorney, investigated without taking action.

It was only after the toddler’s mother filed applications for criminal complaints that Coakley won grand jury indictments charging rape and assault and battery.

Even then, nearly 10 months after the crime, Coakley’s office recommended that Winfield be released on personal recognizance, with no cash bail. He remained free until December 2007, when Coakley’s successor as district attorney won a conviction and two life terms.

The victim's family could not make sense of Coakley's handling of the case:

“Why was he able to be two years out of jail? Why is that?’’ said one family member. “We ask that question all the time.’’

It’s pretty bad when the local lefty broadsheet goes on jihad against the Liberal Lion’s anointed successor.

Excellent article: Where's Martha Coakley?

Coakley: What does she not know, and how long has she not known it?

A skeptic changes his mind: Scott Brown? Game-On!

It’s not the Kennedys' seat. It’s not the Democrats’ seat. It’s the people’s seat.

Big News: Even Massachusetts voters want to START OVER with ObamaCare (53% to 36%)

Ted Kennedy in pumps--definitely questionable character. She makes deals with pedophiles. Why would any parent cast a vote for such scum?

Some parents these days are not up to the task of actually parenting properly and thus don't really care about what happens in today's society. I don't understand it either, how any parent could vote for someone who would let a rapist out on the street. But, some people just can't think for themselves and I believe some Democrats would vote for a brick if it was up against a Republican.

The voters fo MA have been brainwashed for years.
My cousin is the only Republican in MA. That's how she feels.

Mass is indeed a one party state. Scott Brown is amazingly close and could perhaps even win the seat. What an upset it would be, and what a beautiful thing to behold if it happens!

Coakley and her officers failed to assess child sexual abuse at Catholic school for the retarded.

Coakley and her officers failed to stop #umassmed #violentdoctors who harassed, discriminated against, battered and sexually assaulted women, patients and women patients.

Coakley and her officers failed to protect a disabled female whistleblower from harm and then assaulted her and criminally charged her.

Coakley and her officers failed to stop medical fraud and dangerous practices at physical therapy site that engaged in conspiracy. Owner Dale Theberge eventually charged by U.S. Attorney and sent to federal prison. Injuries sustained.

Coakley and her officers allow sexually assaulting physician Lewis E. Braverman to continue to see women, children, and indigent patients at Boston University.

Coakley, the FBI, and police officers fail to assess and prevent multiple cases of medical fraud and abuse by doctors and hospitals.

Don't trust Coakley or the Democratic Money Machine.

BB: I don't know how she survived the primaries. Probably has something to do with the fact that only 11% of the voters showed up at the polls.

T: Unfortunately true.

GJ: Maybe they'll reflexively vote for Joe Kennedy.

WHT: They're off the hook

RNUSA: The news looks better every day.

Anon: There's so much dirt on Martha, it's hard not to get buried under it when you google her name.
